Mangosteen (garcinia mangostana) or Manggis

Mangosteen or in Indonesia language call Manggis is my favorite fruit since I am kid. I just knew this purple fruit original fruit from Nusantara or sout east asia. Mangosteen grow at tropical area which has stability sun all year long. Not just delicious, the fruit that usually call as the queen of fruit has delicious benefit for our healthy.
This fruit noted as the fruit which has the highest antioxidant, which really support for our healthy. And the other benefit come from the skin. As we know Mangosteen has thick skin for protect the fruit. scientist found that the skin of Mangosteen many kind of polifenol consist of tanin, xanthones, antosianin and phenolic acids
Here is  the function of each of them 

Antosianin. 
Antosianin is the pigment in flower fruit or vegetable which have the function as strong anti oxidant for avoid diabetes, neuronal, cancer, cardiovascular and etc.

Xanthone 
Xanthones inside of Mangosteen skin be distinguished by two variants, namely Alfa Mangosteen and Gamma Mangosteen. Alfa Mangosteen use for press accretion of carcinogen inside our body and Gamma Mangosteen which have function for anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-plasmodial, and etc. 
So, The variants of Xanthones there really useful for protect our healthy. 
and the new research found that the the kind of xanthones in mangosteen skin can avoid alzheimer and arthritis. 

 Tanin
Tanin is very famous for press the growth of tumor beside that, tanin have function for anti diarrhea, anti hemorrhoid, hemostatic  and  also press the DNA topoisomerase. 
But tanin can hamper absorption of protein in digestions by create the strong compilation with protein. that is usually call as anti-nutritions. That is make the serious effect if we consume in big portion.  

all of the contain inside the mangosteen is useful for  make our body stronger for a lot of attack from bacterial, virus and fungi. now people useit also for increase the anti body for the people which has AIDS/HIV.
