Bali is not just Kuta, Seminyak or Ubud. Bali is Island. So, we want to spend this December for go round Bali. And that is the right solution for escape from the busy traffic in South Bali, because the fact that we found is many people not visit another part of Bali Island. Like Amed.
When first time we meet with this place, we are falling in love straight a way. beautiful place, silent and a lot of smile from the people and nature. I suggested you for do snorkeling here, Amed has beautiful view in underwater and when you saw them, the view will stay forever in your memory.

The first place in Amed that we visit is lean beach, and for our food there we choose Sails Restaurant. One o the beautiful restaurant with beach views. They have big outdoor area for give the chance of the wind say hello to us. Not just about beautiful design that made us decide for eat to this restaurant.First, the have concept of open kitchen, so you can feel free to watch how hygiene the place which process the food. Second, they guarantee that their food not use MSG (monosodium glutamat ). Third, they free from service charge ^0^. Fourth, FREE mineral water....... BUT, if u use your master card or visa you've got charge 3% for the merchant charge.

Its time for open the menu and choose our food.
Not bad, they have many variant of food. the most that i like some of their food is from lokal, the meaning they are fresh.
For snack we choose Sails Chef''s Salad (Rp. 45.000) and Vietnamese style spring rolls (Rp. 35.000)
For Main Food we choose
- Five small Rosemary flavoured lamb sausages -Subtle and flavoursome.(Rp.70.000)
- Mahi Mahi Fillet - Pan fried to perfection in olive oil and NZ butter. Served with vegetables and Mash /they  have option fries) -(Rp. 70.000)
- Calamari Fritti Crispy -Calamari fried in a light batter served with thin sliced fries and a Greek salad.
   Sweet chilli, sweet & sour or tartare sauce.(Rp.75.000)
- Golden Prawns - Whole shelled prawns, crumbed and gently fried until crisp and succulent. Served with mash/fries and tartare sauce. (Rp.80.000)
For our drink all of us Choose the same drink " Ice Lemon tea "  cost Rp. 15.000
Honestly we want the other drrink, but as I write before, all the price of our food is not cheap.
Principle when I sit in restaurant and i see the drink menu just Juice, tea,etc and they are not specialty ( like coffee shop, tea cafe, or Juice restaurant ) better choose the cheap drink  for save money hehhehe...
Very nice enjoy the silent beach with delicious meals. each of us share our food to the other one. Just for make all of us can taste the food that we order and of course that make me have more opinion about the taste that I will share here.
.... So, Their Salad is fresh nice for opening your eat time in that beach. Nothing special of the spring rolls and nothing bad also. the Calamary crispy is real crispy All of us love the sauce there. Our favorite is Mahi - Mahi fillet that is quite nice. and the others food not bad.
Oh ya... if u like pork or local hard drink (they call arak ) they have some choice.
After finish our food we will finish our rest day with play in the lean beach which just view people there in that time. so, different with some times that we spend in the beach of south Bali (Kuta, Legian, etc )

The only one similar about Beach in Bali is.... they still have beach price ;-p
